Happy Birthday Kelly!

I wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to Kelly! Yes, this is your husband, Brett. I remember the first birthday that I shared with her. It was six birthday's back. We went to Joe's Crab Shack with Megan, Matt and Lisa. I remember Jill showing up later. I think someone else went, but I am not sure. So, if I forgot you, I am sorry. It was so much fun hanging out with Kelly and her friends. That was the first time that I really started to like her. It was a half date, but I was too cheap to buy dinner for her. Anyway, I have had so much fun each birthday since then. Honey, I hope you have a wonderful birthday! I love you so much! You are a wonderful mother and a perfect partner for me. I hope we have many, many more birthday's together! I love you dear.

Yearbook Pictures

o.k. so I totally copied this idea from my cousin, but I thought that it looked like fun. So I decided to do it for me and Brett.

What I like About Fall

o.k. so I have been reading other blogs lately about why they like Fall. And while I love fall, I love the cooling season, the changing color of the leaves, football, Halloween, and especially my birthday. But I have to admit that I really get excited for Fall because it means a new television season with all new episodes! So here are a few of the shows that I am most excited about.

Mrs Hughes

Brett's co-worker sent him this video. I thought that it was pretty funny. My favorite is the very first line. ( again don't forget to turn off the music!)

Demolition Derby

So I have for soooo long wanted to go to a DEmolition Derby, but for some reason or another never really got myself to one. Two years ago, the day before I had Kyanna, we were going to go the West Jordan Derby but it sold out five people in front of us. But tonight we went to the Riverton Demolition DErby and it was awesome. Makes me want to go out and just smash into some cars! O.k. just kidding, but I am upset because I left my stupid memory card in the computer and was only able to get like a 10 second video of the derby. What would have been great is getting a 10 second video of Will's reaction to the cars smashing into one another. Seriously I explained what it was before we went but apparently he didn't completely comprehend because his jaw just dropped once it started. The look of shock on his face was priceless. Anyways I am going to post the video, mostly because I think it is cool, but it's kind of loud so....sorry. ( don't forget to turn off the music first!)

Pictures from Will's Party

Real quick here are some pictures from Will's Birthday. I think that he had a really fun day. In the morning we gave him the present from us, which was a bicycle. Then he had his friends party. Now considering that we are the sunbeam teachers, I am not sure why we subjected ourselves to these little monsters during the week. Seriously Sunday is enough. No I am really just kidding it was fun to have some fun with them and not have to tell them to be quiet, sit-down, or listen to the teacher. Then that night we had a little family party. It was a fun and exhausting day!

Happy Birthday William!

Four years ago from this night I had no idea that my whole world would completely change like it did. But I am so thankful! This little boy has brought so much joy into our lives. There are so many things that I love about Will. The first thing that I love about him is how incredibly smart this child is, I never thought that I would have a child that is smarter than me at only four years old, but I constantly find him outsmarting me! I love that he loves to cuddle and give hugs. I love his imagination. Will has an amazing ability to make a sword or a gun out of just about anything. I love his freckles that are just over his nose. I love that he is such a great example to his sister and his friends. I love that (for the most part) if I ask him to do something he does it! And I love that he deals so well with me and Brett really having no idea what we are doing when it comes to raising children. I could go on but I have a birthday party to prepare for (which I am sure I will post pictures later!). Happy Birthday Will. I love you!!!!

Big Day for Will

So today was a very very big day for Will. This morning he had his first day of pre-school. He was so excited. And other than being an hour late (I guess some miscommunication) it went really good. He said that he had lots of fun, although his excitement was overshadowed by the fact that we got him some Star Wars underwear at the store while he was at school. In fact if you ask him that was the best part of his day!

Then tonight he started T-Ball. And really I have never seen anything so cute as a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds attempting to try and play T-Ball. They all looked so little in their big shirts and big hats. It's all for fun, no competitive. There are no outs, everybody gets a chance to hit each inning, and they get to run to all bases ( with a lot of help from coaches and parents). The first time Will hit the ball I actually ran around the bases with him. Oh and the best part is when they are in the outfield, they all wait for the ball and then when someone hits hit they all swarm to the ball. It's so funny. But the best part is that they all, even those who get to the ball last, look at their mitts to see if they caught the ball. So cute. He really had a good time and of course the highlight are the treats at the end of the game.
Getting ready to start the game.

Waiting for the ball to be hit to them.

Uhm... Will picking his nose while waiting to run.
