Easter Dress the Week Before

o.k. so I know that I am overloading with pictures today but...since next week is general conference we dressed the kids up in their Easter attire today for church. So here are some pictures. Jenna's dress was actually Kyanna's Easter dress when she was basically the same age!

and of course it wouldn't be Easter Sunday picture taking day without Will finding a sword out of something and fighting off all the bad guys!

o.k. so I know these have been all over Facebook but I can't help but show off my cute baby! Plus now most of the blog entries are probably going to have my blog book in mind so I have to record them for that. Anyways my friend did these and I think that they are just amazing and there is still another C.D. so I am going to be posting more:)

Isn't it PURRRRRRTY???

Because it used to look like this.....
Who is that cute baby that is keeps poppin her head in the windows?
Yeah! We got a new door that goes directly into the back yard. We have done a lot of improvements to the house but this is the first major structural improvement. All new Windows it's SO nice.
Will worked very hard at demo.
Later he asked papa (my dad) for a whacker (he really meant a hammer, so cute!)

Birth Order of Children

My sister-in-law found this somewhere and I HAD to post it. It is so true and hilarious. ENJOY!!!

1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as
your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.

2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.

3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.

Preparing for the Birth:

1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.

2nd baby: You don't bother because you remember that last
time, breathing didn't do a thing.

3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your eighth month..

The Layette:

1st baby: You pre-wash newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.

2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and
discard only the ones with the darkest stains.

3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?

1st baby: At the first sign of distress--a whimper,
a frown--you pick up the baby

2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten
to wake your firstborn.

3rd baby: You teach your three-year-old how to
rewind the mechanical swing.

1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until
you can go home and wash and boil it.

2nd baby: When the pacifier falls on the floor, you squirt it
off with some juice from the baby's bottle.

3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in..

1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour,
whether they need it or not.

2nd baby: You change their diaper every two to three hours, if needed.

3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to
complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing,
Baby Zoo, Baby Movies and Baby Story Hour.

2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.

3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaners.

Going Out:

1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter,
you call home five times.

2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to
leave a number where you can be reached.

3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she sees blood.

At Home:

1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.

2nd baby: You spend a bit of everyday watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby.

3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children

Swallowing Coins (a favorite):

1st child: When first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the hospital and demand x-rays

2nd child: When second child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for the coin to pass.

3rd child: When third child swallows a coin you deduct it from his allowance

Ice Skating

For FHE Monday night we went to the Olympic Oval to go Ice-skating. It was fun. I used to go ice-skating so much growing up and I haven't been for a very long time. And it was fun. This kids did great! Well.....they did pretty good. O.k. so they whined the whole time we where there and then whined when it was time to go home. But they said that they had fun!

Sorry these pictures are so dark. I didn't realize just how bad.
I love that they had these for the little ones.

So that is Brett leaving. I just have to laugh cause I don't think that Brett has been ice-skating that much in his life and well....he isn't very good. (Sorry honey I LOVE YOU!) Anyways see that little girl in the costume right behind him. Yeah she was REally REALLY good, skating circles around Brett, literally.

Sorry GIRLS he's taken!

EVen Jenna went ice-skating!

So....because Brett wasn't very good I had to take the kids around to help them since I little bit more steady on my ice-skates. I was sore!
Will did SO good. He really really did. He was nervous at first so we got him a walker. Then he just took off like crazy. So the next time around I had him just hold my hand. And then the last time I let go of him a couple of times. I was so impressed. He was a natural!

No Creative Title

Not that I EVER have a creative title but at 12:00 a.m. I can't even think of one.

Here is just a bunch of randomness....

Kyanna wore my old dress to church last week. I am pretty sure that my Grandma made this for me. I have a bunch of clothes that used to be mine. LUCKY. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!!

Last week my parents came over and put trim around all of our NEW windows. It looks so good! Good bye to the old 70's-80's tile around windows. So I let the kids pick out fabric and made them some curtains. No more yucky old blinds either.

obviously this is Will's room

and butterflies for the girls. Actually we are in the process of painting the girls room pink and purple. Inspiration from their cousin Rachel's room. Is it bad that when I paint my lips go numb from the paint fumes? Don't paint while you are pregnant! Which I am NOT!

My fabulous find at the D.I. today. YEs it works. Pretty sure it was brand new. 4 dollars, the kids LOVE IT! Especially that little bugger there. Who by the way has started to crawl.

Kyanna put on lipstick the other day. not bad huh :)
