The day after Christmas it snowed again!!! Well we thought we would take advantage of it and go sledding at a local park. The kids had a blast so much fun for them the hill was a perfect size for them to walk up on their own and sled back down even for Jenna. They all cried when it was time to go.

Tis the season

Here are a few fun activities we did this Christmas season from decorating cookies to going on a surprise polar express ride and some of the fun things our elf Oreo did.

Grandma and Grandpa

This is just a great picture that I wanted to make sure was in my blog

It Does Snow In Price

We had a real good snow storm here in Price and it's seems like it hasn't stopped for a week! It's awesome when it snows in Price for a couple of reasons but the best is there is nowhere that's a long commute so no traffic and less crazy drivers!!

Anyways here is my mother of the week story! I sent the kids to school last Tuesday in just there sneakers well it proceeded to snow the entire day! When William walked in the he said to me mom I lost a shoe. I told him go get it. He said "mom I don't know where it fell off, my feet are so frozen I can't even feel them!" So who knows how long he had walked home with only one shoe and he didn't even know it. Granted I am sure he walked home in every snow bank. So come spring we will find his other shoe I guess.

Ho Ho Ho

This is the first time in three years that my kids have seen Santa Claus...I think Jenna's last time was when she was only a couple of months old. Normally we just write letters. But we had an opportuntiy to see Santa at the Highschool so we went! No long lines, no obnoxious mall stores...I loved it.

If I understand it correctly this Santa is a really neat Santa. I believe that he lost his son when he was only 8 years old and he does a fundraiser each year to raise money for a program called "Spencer Wishes" it gives back money to whatever it was that took his son's life. Sorry that was really vague. I am just not sure of the whole story.  But I know he does it in his son's honor. And he is so so so good with the kids. Really talks with them and spends some time with them.

Let's go Blue...Let's Go White

This year we decided to do cheer leading instead of dance...mostly because it's cheaper since I am now paying for two. The girls absolutely love it! It helps that they have lots of friends that do it too. All day long I hear "5...6...7...8...lets go blue, lets go white, blue, white" it never gets old. Kyanna is amazing a cartwheels and now she is working on round off. Jenna is so good too, for a three year her attention span in cheer leading is quite amazing. She follows all the directions, most of the time:) And she can do somersaults like crazy!

This was their first performance of the year at the Helper Arts and Craft fair. They both did really good!
Jenna had no reservations about getting up in front of people to perform. No problems at all!

Jenna does spend a lot of time looking at what the other girls are doing, but she did great.

Brett did a Ragnar too!

And he did awesome! He trained for 2 weeks! 2 weeks! He killed it. Running 8 1/2 minute miles. I train all summer and still can't run that fast! This one was in Las Vegas and well other than our BIL Dan I really have no idea who anyone else is. We were sure proud of him though!

William got his first scouting award! Way to go buddy!

Go Utes

Kyanna has been begging for sometime to attend a football game. We have always been hesitant because we didn't think she would last. Well there was a Saturday afternoon game this year that seemed like the perfect opportunity. She LOVED it! Lasted the whole time. Although I think she enjoyed the cheerleaders the most. Really I think she just loved spending time with just her and her dad!

We dressed up as the Harry Potter clan this year. And like always Halloween is filled with family parties, school parties, ward parties, and of course trick or treating! I am always crossing my fingers that the costumes will last through all of that. They did good this year I was very proud if my costume making skills☺

Fall BreaK

This year fall break just happen to fall at the same time as Brett's meetings in Provo. So we decided that we were going to go with Dad and hang out in Provo while he was at his meetings. I LOVE spending time with my kids like this. No real agenda just kind of do what we are going to do. Really the highlight for the kiddies is staying in a hotel, swimming in the hotel, and eating breakfast at the hotel. But we did leave the hotel also. We went and saw Hotel Transylvania  Best part since it was not fall break in Provo there was only three other people at the movie!
Both days we went to the park for a picnic lunch. The weather was awesome!
We also had fun when Dad was off work. We went to a place called Hee-Haw farms it was fun. The kids loved this big slide. I had fun too until Brett came up to me and said we need to go right now. Alarmed I asked him why and he said cause the slide put a huge hole in the butt of my pants!

Hayride and picking out pumpkins (which we didn't need but was part of the deal)
Then we hurried home Friday cause our cousins were coming to visit for the weekend. On Sat. we went to Goblin Valley which is always so much fun with kids they always have a blast and get so worn  out. Will wanted me to take of pictures of him on this right cause he thought it looked like a duck.
All the cousins! Had fun exploring and even played a little hide and go seek. And again had amazingly warm weather for the middle of October!

It was a great fall break. I was sad when it was time to go back to school :(
