No More Dial Up!!!!!

Yes it is true, as of today, we no longer have lousy dial-up. We tried to be frugal and save some money, but they say once you have high speed you can never go back and it's true!!!!!!! But we did last about three months, so I think we can be kind of proud. Anyways hopefully this will boost up my blogging. It's been hard I have really really missed it. So on that note for the past two weeks I have been working 4 days a week and it has really really not been fun, but as a reward for all of my hard work Brett said that we could buy a.....

It is so much fun. NOw I know this is us totally jumping on that bandwagon again. BUt really who cares if we ride it, there is a reason why everyone has one of these, because there fun! Although I have to say that after playing it for awhile, my wrist is so sore. It really hasn't recovered. We also got a Wii fit. It's pretty fun, however, I have to admit that I find it quite rude. Every time I step on to the balance board it groans at me. Then I was taking a balance test and it said and I quote "You are unbalanced, do you find that you trip over your feet alot". And then the other day when I stepped on it reminded me to lay off the afternoon snacks. REally! Hopefully it will be motivating.

Dinner Anyone? Kyanna's cookin!

It's funny that I just got done complaining about having nothing to blog about and then material just seems to present itself. I don't know maybe it's because I am looking now. Anyways I usually don't get too worried when Kyanna is quiet, she is really good playing by herself. So I wasn't too worried when I hadn't heard from her this afternoon for a while. Until she came out covered in this white substance all over her clothes and face (sorry no picture of that) and it was stinky. So I went back to her room and this is what I found all over her kitchen.
uhm... yeah wondering what that possibly might be. Well let me show you.
That's right, it's onion powder. All over her kitchen, all over her play food, all over her carpet, and all over herself. Yes, the stink was the onion powder. She emptied the whole container! WEll I tried to clean it up as much as I could but now our house has a faint smell of onion powder, how lovely. So if you happen to come over in the next couple of days, I am sorry. OUr house stinks!

I Might Be a Swimming Fan

O.k. so this might sound like I am a really big loser. But hey I really don't care. So the last couple of days I have been sick, therefore, I have spent a lot of time in front of the t.v. watching the Olympics. And the swimming competition has been going on and I love watching it! It could be because I have a new appreciation, after swimming in the triathlon, for just how challenging it is to try and swim fast or really just swim at all. Anyways there you have my two cents. Oh here is a funny story. We were watching the girl gymnastics the other and after they did tumbling passes Kyanna immediately got down on the floor and attempted to do a somersault. Then when she went over, but not really a somersault, she waited for applause. It was very cute.

Well all I can say is that is has been really really hard to have dial-up Internet. That mixed with a not great computer has really put quite a damper on my blogging. I have just really lost all desire to post new things because it has come to be such a pain in the butt to actually do it. So here I am now at a better computer for a short-time, without my camera, and I can't think of anything good to even post. Of course once I leave from this computer I will think of many things that want to post. Anyways the good news is that Brett is in the process of building a better computer for us and then maybe we can re-consider doing high speed Internet again and then maybe my desire for blogging will return! I have been thinking about putting advertisements on my blog, because I have heard that you can make money, but what do you think? Will it be too annoying? I don't know part of me thinks well if you can make money why not? But then another part of me thinks that it is just annoying when you see advertisements. Well anyways on a side-note Kyanna went to nursery today without crying! I couldn't hardly believe it. Also I am going to be starting a new job at St. Marks Outpatient Surgery, as a per diem nurse next week, that I am really excited about.
