Here Is the Info

O.k. so I know that I just kind of mentioned that I was pregnant last post. So I thought that I had better give ya'll some details that you have been asking for! It's still somewhat early but we are not one to keep it to ourselves. So I am almost 8 weeks pregnant. Which puts the due date at the beginning of June. I have my first Dr. appt Nov. 6. I think the best way to describe how I am feeling is that I am surviving, meaning I am not sick all the time but I definitely don't feel myself. YOu know the kind where your really hungry but the thought of eating anything makes you want to barf. Yes I am feeling tired but who has time to feel tired with two young kids. So my worst time is at night when I am really tired and really don't feel good. We decided (o.k. mostly I decided) that we are not going to find out what it is. We figured why not we have both boy and girl stuff so either way we are going to be prepared. And thought that it might be kind of exciting waiting until the end. So that is just about it.

Random Stuff

This video was actually taken a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. I don't know what has happened to Kyanna lately (must be that she is two) first this video, second last Saturday she came down the stairs holding my open bottle of vitamins and said to me " I don't like these" so of course I had to call poison control, luckily though she would have had to eat like 14 of them before it made her sick, which I am pretty sure she didn't since she didn't like them. And then today I found her eating toothpaste! Honestly.

Sorry about the messy bathroom we are in the middle or remodeling it.

About a week ago we decided to have a picnic up in the canyons and look at the leaves turning colors. Well did you know that there are no picnic areas up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Well there isn't. So we decided to try Big Cottonwood Canyon. Oh there are lots of picnic areas but each on there cost 6$ I am sorry that is ridiculous. By the time we decided to just eat at one it was getting dark and way too cold to stay long. So don't tell anyone but we didn't pay!

Last Saturday we (and when I say we I mean Brett) decided to sell his car that we have had for less than a year. But it was time it needed four new tires, a new windshield, and well it was time to register it, so I guess this was our way of avoiding all that. Plus it was a huge gas guzzler. The good new is that we got exactly what we paid for it. On Tuesday Brett bought a 93 Honda Civic which is much nicer than this car and gets much better gas mileage.

Well that is pretty much it just wanted to give a few small updates. Oh and by the way I am pregnant.

Help Me!

O.k. so last week, right before it got really cold, I was told that I need to go and pick all of my tomatoes because they wouldn't make it through the cold. Well I am not exactly sure how this happened (maybe it's because I am an excellent Gardener) but I picked well over 100 tomatoes from my garden. They are all green but they are starting to turn red. So here is my problem I don't particularly care for tomatoes, Brett loves them but he can only eat so many. However I do love salsa, chili, and tomato soup. So I am in desperate need of some good recipes. I especially love salsa that involves fruit. So if any of you out there happen to know of any great recipes that I could use for all of my tomatoes I would love you forever. Or hey if any of you are coming this way stop by and I will give you a bag!

Fun at Cornbellys

O.k. so I know that it has been a really long time since I have updated my blog and I am really tired so this may not make a lot of sense. But I felt like I needed to give some kind of update. Actually life has been quite calm which has been nice. Yesterday we went to Cornbelly's with Jill, Cole, and Tori. It was lots of fun, but really only because we went on the two for one day and before dark so it was cheap. But the kids really had fun, until it just got too cold to really even function. Poor Kyanna wouldn't even take her hands out of her pockets. So here are some pictures from that.

They loved this jumping pillow and it was nice because the had a little one for little kids so Kyanna actually had fun on it too.

Kyanna of course is holding her hands out for me apparently she wasn't too thrilled about the pumpkin princess!

It was fun to see Will and Cole get along so well and have so much fun. And apparently they loved the pumpkin princess and the pumpkin coach!

This was a very cold hayride. But still fun!
