Trip to Oregon
Wow! It has been a super long time since I have updated my blog. We have been so busy. Not to mention the step down to dial-up Internet (ouch!) Yeah, that really hurts. Anyways we just got home from a really fun trip to Oregon. It was fun to go and visit Rob and Kristi and Ang and Dan. It was also fun to go visit our old apartment, go to the famous Hagens for candy, Trader Joes for the best Tomato soup ever, visit the very very windy beach, and eat lunch at our favorite restaurant along the Columbia Gorge. Also we went to the Enchanted Forest which we would always pass on our way down to visit family when we lived there but never actually went. It was great if you are between the ages of 3-8. So that meant that Will loved it. And mostly so did Kyanna, except for the scary parts of course.
We didn't make it to La Grande for Brett's graduation (we decided that it would be cheaper, less gas, and more fun if we spent that extra day in Eugene). But Rob, Kristi, Ang, and Dan gave Brett an awesome graduation (which I will have to post later) which was much more entertaining than the real thing I am sure and better on the kids and me!
All in all it was a great trip and I think we were spoiled by the 70 degree weather, because it was hot hot hot when we came back. Our house was 93 degree when we came home at 9:00 Wednesday night!
