We Did Our Own Thanksgiving

This was my first official Thanksgiving that I prepared by myself. With a new baby we thought it wise to stay home and avoid germs as much as possible. I won't lie it was really really nice to stay home, not sure if I would like it every year but I sure enjoyed it this year. And I have to say I was quite proud of myself! It all came out really good....homemade cranberry sauce, not from a box stuffing, homemade gravy, and pumpkin cake! My mouth is watering just thinking of it now!

We even threw in a little tradition, this is from Brett's family of dipping grapes in sugar for table decorations. If I was totally on my A game I would have made shoo fly pie (my families tradition) but hey I did just have a baby!
